MEMPHIS, Tenn. - The Delta State University men's tennis team grabbed a crucial Gulf South Conference win sweeping Christian Brothers University, 9-0, and then sweeping non-conference foe LeMoyne-Owen College, 9-0, on Sunday afternoon.
In both matches, Delta State opened the doubles competition taking all three wins on each court.
The momentum continued in the singles competition as the Statesmen won in all six spots against CBU and LeMoyne-Owen.
The Statesmen (4-4, 2-2 GSC) return to Cleveland as they host Mississippi College on March 22 with the match scheduled to start at 2 p.m.
