CLEVELAND, Tenn. - Lee University finished the last 8:30 of the game on a 21-11 run to defeat the Delta State University men's basketball team 62-53, in a Gulf South Conference contest, on Thursday at Paul Dana Walker arena.

TURNING POINT:
- After Brett Warner hit DSU's first three-pointer of the game, giving the Statesmen a 42-41 lead with 8:30 left, Lee responded by outscoring the visitors 21-11 the rest of the way.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Delta State shot 10-of-24 (41.7 percent) from the field in the first half, while Lee was 11-of-26 (42 percent). The Flames were 3-of-9 from long-range, while The Statesmen were 0-for-4. DSU took advantage of a 6-for-9 performance from the free throw line, while Lee was just 1-for-1.
