CLEVELAND, Miss. – After a two game road swing, the Delta State University men's soccer team return home for a pair of non-conference matches. First the Statesmen take on Lindenwood University out of the MIAA on Friday Oct. 12 at 3 PM. Then on Monday Oct. 15 the Statesmen will take on Ouachita Baptist after two previous attempts to play the game. Kickoff is slated for 1 PM on Monday.

INSIDE THE SERIES:
- Lindenwood leads the all time series 2-0. Last year Delta State went to Missouri and lost to the Lions 2-0.
- DSU carries a 6-10 record all-time against Ouachita Baptist, but won their last matchup against the Tigers 2-1 last season.

- Lindenwood comes into the weekend with a 5-4-2 overall record. They are 1-2-1 in the MIAA.
- Lions have outscored their opponents 21-19 this season.
- Thomas Hutchenson leads the way for Lindenwood with 6 goals.

ABOUT OUACHITA BAPTIST:
- Back on September 7th, the Statesmen and the Tigers played the first 45 minutes to a scoreless tie before rain and lightning washed the rest of the game.
- Ouachita Baptist is currently 4-4-1 and 2-1-0 in the GAC. They host Southern Nazarene University on Saturday.
- Ten OBU Tigers have scored this season with Blain Hickman leading the way with two goals and three assists.
- Last season the Tigers went 9-7-1 going 2-0 in the Great American Conference tournament
- For the second time in three years the Ouachita Baptist men's soccer team has been picked to be the Great American Conference favorite; this is the first time that the men's soccer program has been picked as the outright favorite in the GAC.
