MEMPHIS, Tenn. - The Delta State University men's tennis team defeated Gulf South Conference rival, Christian Brothers University, 8-1, on Saturday, Feb. 10, in Memphis, Tenn.

The Statesmen dominated the match from the get-go, sweeping all doubles matches to take a 3-0 lead.

In singles action,
Emile Le Terrier handly defeated his opponent 6-1, 6-2 to give the Statesmen a 4-0 lead.
Stedman Strickland secured the match victory for the Statesmen, securing a 6-1, 6-4 victory in singles. Despite Delta State having secured the match victory, play continued. CBU picked up its lone match point in singles.
