Box Score MONTGOMERY, Ala -- West Florida scored three runs in the fourth inning and held on to defeat the Delta University softball team 3-1 on the final day of the Gulf South Conference Opening Weekend Festival, on Sunday at Lagoon Park.

- The Lady Statesmen scored their lone run of the game on an RBI single by Eaves.

- The Lady Statesmen failed to record an extra base hit for just the fourth time this year.
- DSU has now lost three games in which it outhit its opponent.
