PENSACOLA, Fla. – The No. 6 University of West Florida men's tennis team defeated Delta State 9-0 on Friday, April 6, in Pensacola, Fla.
The doubles competition was close, but the Argos prevailed to take a 3-0 lead heading into the singles competition.
West Florida continued to dominate the match in the singles competition, clinching match wins at all six courts to earn the shutout victory. Senior
Joao Yamacita was closest to winning his singles match, suffering a narrow 6-4, 6-4 defeat at No. 4 singles.
