CLEVELAND, Miss.- The Delta State University men's soccer team heads on the road for the final games of the regular season this Thursday and Saturday down south. On Thursday they will play West Florida in Pensacola and on Saturday the Statesmen will play in Mobile at Spring Hill College. The Statesmen are trying to find their first GSC win of the year.

INSIDE THE SERIES: DSU and Spring Hill are tied 5-5 in the all time series. Last year in Cleveland, SHC who went on to be the GSC champions won 5-2.
UW leads the all time series with DSU 14-3. Last year UWF won 6-0 to close out the regular season for the Statesmen.
LAST TIME OUT: The Statesmen fell to AUM 3-1.
Gabriel Brito scored first for the Statesmen at the eight-minute mark but AUM answered with three straight in the first half to take the victory.
INSIDE THE OPPONENTS:
West Florida is 11-1-2 overall and 6-1-2 in GSC play. They currently sit in second in the GSC standings. As a team they currently have the second most goals with 38 and have given up only nine. Teavon Spencer has six goals and four assists to lead the Argos. Meanwhile Davi Alves has four goals and six assists and Sean Hoffstatter has six goals and two assists as well. Goalkeeper Jihad Gomes has earned seven shutouts this year.
Spring Hill is 6-7 overall and 4-5 in GSC play. The defending GSC champs currently sit at the eighth and final spot in the tournament and they are tied with Union in eighth. Alex Lipinski lead the Badgers with six goals and five assists haven taken 48 shots. Donte Oliver has added three goals and an assist as well.
