Zyaire Ewing and
Quantesha Patterson the Delta State University women's basketball team fell to Alabama Huntsville, 68-67 on Thursday at Walter Sillers Coliseum.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Lady Chargers took an early 5-0 lead with 8:17 left in the first period.
- A 6-0 run gave Delta State the lead, 6-5 with 6:29 remaining in the period.
- The Lady Chargers took back the lead, 10-6 after a 3-poitner from Selena Pruitt with 5:35 left in the first period.
- At the 5:03 media timeout the Lady Chargers led 10-9.
- The Lady Statemen took the lead 11-10 after a pair of free throws from Nia Johnson with 4:33 remaining in the period.
- With 1:23 remaining in the first period, the Lady Statemen led by five, 18-13.
- At the end of the first period, Delta State led by four, 20-16. The Lady Statesmen ended the period shooting 57 percent from the field.
- Delta State led 25-16 with 8:17 left in the second period.
- A layup from Pruitt cut DSU's lead to just three, 26-23, with 6:20 left in the half.
