CLEVELAND, Miss. -- Senior
Quantesha Patterson picked up yet another postseason honor, adding D2CCA First-Team All-South Region on Thursday.
Patterson adds the honor to a growing list that includes being a C-Spire Gillom Trophy Finalist, First-Team All-GSC and was chosen GSC Player of the Week five times.
The Maben, Miss., native has posted 20 double-doubles (2nd GSC/7th NCAA) and grabbed 402 rebounds (2nd GSC/4th NCAA) along with 5.9 offensive rebounds per game (1st GSC/2nd NCAA) and a 65.4 shooting percent (1st GSC/3rd NCAA). Patterson is also fourth in the GSC averaging 17.4 points per game and 13.4 rebounds per game.
Patterson leads the 23-7 Lady Statesmen into the 2019-20 NCAA South Region Women's Basketball Tournament against Eckerd College on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. (CDT)
