CLEVELAND, Miss. -- Trailing by 10 points with seven minutes to play, the University of Alabama in Huntsville used a 13-4 run to get back into the contest and forced a missed shot in the game's waning seconds to defeat the Lady Statesmen 61-60.
Holly Harris had a game-high 19 points for the Chargers, while Alexis Woods had 15 points and a game-high 16 rebounds.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Alabama-Huntsville notched the game's first bucket but a 7-2 run by the Lady Statesmen, coupled by a three-plus minute scoring drought for the Chargers, made it 7-4 DSU with 4:51 left in the first.
- DSU led 11-6 with 2:39 left in the first quarter, but UAH used three three-pointers as part of a 9-2 run to pull within four at the end of the first quarter, 16-12.
- Delta State got two free-throws from Zyaire Ewing, a jumper from Shaniyah Buford, and a Camryn Davis bucket to take a 22-14 advantage at the 7:17 mark of the second quarter.
- Sparked by five points from Holly Harris, the Chargers outscored DSU 12-9 over the final six minutes of the second quarter
- Alanna Smith got fouled with 0.7 seconds left in the half and drained both free throws as the Lady Statesmen took a 31-26 lead at the break.
- The two teams traded punches in the third quarter, but T'Kyra Hicks' driving layup gave the Lady Statesmen the 42-41 lead heading into the fourth.
- DSU used a 10-0 run from the 8:35 mark of the fourth to the 7:20 mark, as Kirstin Brown hit two layups, had a steal, grabbed two offensive rebounds, and hit a pair of free throws as part of the sprint.
- UAH, however, used a 13-4 run to erase a 10-point deficit, and took a late lead on a Selena Pruitt baseline jumper with 34 seconds left.
