Tuskegee, Ala. - The Delta State University women's basketball team dropped the opening game of the season 69-55 on Friday evening to Tuskegee University. The Lady Statesmen allowed Tuskegee to score 24 points in the fourth quarter to seal the win.
Zyaire Ewing led all scorers with 20 points and 12 rebounds in the loss.
Moriah Hurst added 11 points and
Ke'Vonshaye Stackhouse scored ten points for DSU.
