CLEVELAND, Miss. - The Delta State University women's basketball team started the game on a 12-2 run and never looked back as the Lady Statesmen defeated the University of Arkansas-Monticello Cotton Blossoms 75-66.
DSU led the game wire-to-wire on Monday evening as four different Lady Statesmen scored in double figures in the win. Delta State was 23-25 from the free throw line in the win.
T'Kyra Hicks had a career high 18 points while
Zyaire Ewing added her third double-double of the season with 19 points and 11 rebounds.

STATS OF THE GAME:
- DSU out-rebounded UAM 38-26.
- Camryn Davis was 6-for-8 from the field and had 14 points.
- UAM was 8-for-23 from the three point line.
- Talyor Flores for UAM led all scorers with 23 points and made five three pointers.
- For the first time this season, DSU had more assists than turnovers (15-14).
- Ke'vonshaye Stackhouse added 16 points, four rebounds, and four assists as well.
- The Lady Statesmen made six field goals in each quarter.
- In the fourth quarter, DSU stretch the lead out to 12 points before UAM answered with a 7-0 run and brought the score to 59-55.
- Delta State outscored UAM 16-11 over the final three minutes to preserve the win.
- Hicks had three of the four three point shots for the Lady Statesmen.
- DSU doubled UAM in points in the paint with 36 to the Cotton Blossoms 18.
- DSU has now won 18-straight against the Cotton Blossoms.
