Box Score ITTA BENA, Miss. - The Delta State University women's basketball team used a 28-point fourth quarter to pull away and defeat Mississippi Valley State University 77-66 in exhbition action on Friday evening.
Zyaire Ewing led all scorers with 20 points and 14 rebounds in the win. It was the first time the two schools had met since a 55-53 Delta State win in 2013.

Delta State starts the weekend on Friday, Nov. 12 against tournament hosts Tuskegee University before playing Lemoyne-Owen College on Saturday, Nov. 13.
