MONTGOMERY, Ala. -- The Delta State University women's basketball team outscored Auburn University at Montgomery 26-15 in the fourth quarter to snare a 57-51 win on Sunday afternoon.
The win brought DSU to a 3-0 record in GSC play for the first time since the 2018-19 season.
Zyaire Ewing led the Lady Statesmen with 15 points and 12 rebounds for her fourth double-double of the season.

STATS OF THE GAME:
- Delta State jumped out to a 10-2 lead early as AUM did not score for the first four minutes of the game.
- AUM outscored DSU 13-7 in the second period to tie the game at the break at 17.
- DSU scored 26 points in the fourth quarter which is the most in any single quarter this season.
- The Lady Statesmen turned the ball over 13 times in the first half and only four times in the second half.
- The Lady Statesmen were 18-for-49 from the field while AUM was 15-for-48.
- DSU was 18-24 from the free-throw line.
- Of the 41 rebounds DSU secured, they had 30 defensive boards.
- Only Ke'Vonshaye Stackhouse and Ewing scored in double-digits with 16 and 15, respectively.
- This is the fourth time this season that DSU has held an opponent under 60 points.
- Allasha Dudley was the only AUM player to score more than 10 points as she had 22.
