MONTEVALLO, ALA. -- The University of Montevallo outscored Delta State University 19-6 in second chance points, including 17 offensive rebounds, and drilled six three-pointers on second chance opportunities to down the Statesmen 69-62 on Tuesday night.

• The Falcons out-rebounded the Statesmen 35-34, including 17-8 on the offensive glass.
• Delta State blocked eight shots and shot 48 percent from the field.
• The Statesmen hit 10 three-pointers, reaching the double-digit made three-pointers mark for the sixth time this season.
• Maalik Cartwright had 18 points, nine rebounds, four assists, and three blocks.
• Airen Brooks was the only other Statesmen in double figures with 13 points.
• The Statesmen had 14 or more turnovers for the eighth time this season.
