CLEVELAND, Miss. -- The Delta State University men's basketball team had four different players score in double figures, led by 16 points, seven rebounds, and four assists from
Maalik Cartwright, and used a 14-2 run early in the second half to dispatch Christian Brothers University 66-59 on Saturday night.

STATS OF THE GAME:
- Delta State won the turnover battle and the battle on the boards. The Statesmen out-rebounded the Bucs 31-30, and had eight turnovers to CBU's 10.
- Christian Brothers was just 4-for-10 from the free throw line, while the Statesmen went 8-for-13 (62 percent).
- Maalik Cartwright led the Green and White with 16 points, seven rebounds, four assists, while Kasey Walker-Gregg notched 15 points, three rebounds, and four assists.
- Aiden Ruthsatz tallied 18 points to lead all scorers, and also added seven rebounds, and four assists.
- Down one at the half, CBU took the lead on a Nick Deifel layup with 18:44 to play in the game.
- Delta State responded with a 14-2 run to the 13:35 mark of the game, getting buckets from five different players, to take a 10-point lead that they would not relinquish.
