VALDOSTA, Ga. -- The Delta State University men's tennis team hit the court in the first GSC matchup of the season against No. 15 Valdosta State and the majority of the singles matches went into a third set.

DOUBLES

• Emile Le Terrier and Trey Seymour (DSU) were defeated by Yohan Nguyen and Florian Simbozel (VSU) 7-5
• Franco Osmar Roldan and Hugo Stroppiana (DSU) fell to Luca Mack and Edward Etty (VSU) 6-2.
• Côme Bracaval and Leo De Sousa (DSU) were victorious in their matchup against Christian Wedel and Cameron Trigolos (VSU) 6-1.

SINGLES

• Terrier (DSU) went to three sets and fell to Nguyen (VSU) 6-4, 5-7, and 6-3.
• Stroppiana (DSU) and fell to a close one agianst Simbozel (VSU) 7-6, 7-6.
• De Sousa (DSU) goes three sets with Wedel (VSU) and falls 6-3, 4-6, and 7-5.
• Seymour (DSU) falls in a quick match to Mack (VSU) 6-2, 6-1.
• Bracaval (DSU) defeated Trigolos (VSU) 7-6, 4-6, and 13-11. 
• Emiliano (DSU) made quick work of Etty (VSU) 6-4, 6-4.

UP NEXT

The Statesmen are set to be back on the court tomorrow, against Flagler College, at noon. This will be the second time both teams have faced off. Both teams went head-to-head in the ITA National Indoor Tournament.
