PENSACOLA, Fla. -- The Delta State University women's basketball team let a ten-point lead slip away and dropped its fourth straight game 56-52 to the University of West Florida Argos on Saturday afternoon.
The Lady Statesmen led for over 30 minutes of the game, but a scoring frenzy from UWF's Jaclyn Jarnot led the Argo comeback.
Jarnot had 25 points and 21 rebounds to lead all scorers.
T'Kyra Hicks had 13 points and eight rebounds to lead DSU

STATS OF THE GAME:
- Delta State out-rebounded UWF 42-40 as the Argos pulled more rebounds against DSU than any other team.
- DSU was 19-56 from the field for 33.9 percent while UWF was 19-for-58 from the field.
- The Lady Statesmen were also 7-21 from three-pointers for 30.8 percent.
- UWF did not lead until halfway through the fourth quarter.
- The Argos doubled up the Green and White in points in the paint at 20-10.
- UWG also had 11 second-chance points to DSU's three.
- Ke'Vonshaye Stackhouse had 12 points and five assists while Zyaire Ewing had seven points and nine rebounds. Moriah Hurst added nine points and seven rebounds.
- UWF outscored DSU 22-12 in the fourth quarter.
