CLEVELAND, Miss. -- The Delta State University women's basketball team erased a 13-point first-half deficit but could not complete the comeback against Lee University on Saturday afternoon.

The Lady Statesmen had a three-point lead with four minutes to go in the game but a couple of three-point shots from the Lady Flames gave them the lead.
 
Ke'Vonshaye Stackhouse cut the deficit down to 68-67 with 11 seconds left. After Haley Schubert made one of two free throws for Lee, Delta State could not get a shot off as time expired.
 
Stackhouse had 17 points to lead DSU. Zyaire Ewing had 14 points and eight rebounds to lead the Lady Statesmen. Four different Delta State players reached double figures in scoring.
