STATS OF THE GAME:
- The Flames opened up a 21-9 behind three three-pointers by Quay Kennedy, Beyuan Hendricks, and Makhi McGuire.
- Lee continued to hold off the Statesmen in the first half and held a 44-33 lead.
- DSU used an 11-4 spurt to open the second half and trim a double-digit Flames lead to four points with 16:50 to go.
- Lee responded with a 15-5 run to push the lead back to double-digits and never looked back.
- Hendricks led the way for Lee with 29 points on 10-for-14 shooting. He also hit 6-of-9 three-pointers.
- Maalik Cartwright had 25 points, 11 rebounds, and four assists.
- The Flames out-rebounded Delta State 34-27 and outscored the Statesmen 15-5 in points off turnovers.
