CLEVELAND, Tenn. -- The Lady Statesmen (5-8 overall, 4-5 GSC) made only two shots from beyond the arc to Lee's (9-2, 8-0) ten made three-pointers, seven of which came in the second half. The Flames shot over 50 percent from the field in the second half of their 64-48 win to keep their conference record perfect thus far.
Camryn Davis led the Lady Statesmen with 15 points on six made baskets. Davis also snagged 7 rebounds, 4 of which came on the offensive end, and 2 steals.
Grace Watson was the other Lady Statesmen to reach double figures with 11 points. Watson also snagged two rebounds while also recording an assist, a block, and a steal.Â
Seven other Lady Statesmen found the score sheet against the Flames including
Otashae Burrage with 6 points and
Alanna Smith and
Bryanna Taylor with 4 points each.
