CLEVELAND, Miss. -- The Delta State University women's basketball team allowed Mississippi College to lead just once in the contest, outscored the Lady Choctaws in all four quarters, and allowed only one third-quarter field goal en route to a 78-51 win.
Zyaire Ewing had her ninth double-double of the season with 17 points and 11 rebounds.
Shanell Kitchens had a career-high 14 points against her former team.

- Delta State were 24-for-57 from the field for 42 percent. The Lady Choctaws were 15-for-59 in the game.
- DSU held MC without a field goal from the 6:43 mark in the third quarter until the 9:23 mark in the fourth quarter.
- Delta State out-rebounded MC by 20, 55-35.
- There were a combined 60 fouls in the ball game. DSU was 27-for-38 from the free throw line while MC was 17-for-34.
- MC only had one player in double figures with Jay Levy notching ten points.
- DSU had 10 of its 12 players who played in the game crack the score column.
- Camryn Davis, Kitchens, Ewing, and Moriah Hurst all had 10 or more points.
- It was the largest margin of victory over MC since an 86-54 victory on March 4, 1995.
