CLEVELAND, Miss. -- Delta State led by as many as 28 points in their big non-conference win Saturday night over Ouachita Baptist. The Statesmen held the Tigers under 30 percent shooting in the first half while shooting 47 percent themselves in the frame.
The Statesmen nailed 11 three-pointers in the game, led by Caleb Allen with five makes from beyond the arc. Maalik Cartwright recorded his second straight double-double with 17 points and 12 boards.
