Cleveland, Miss. – The Delta State University Women's Basketball team took on the top-ranked Union University Bulldogs, in their second game of conference. The Lady Statesmen netted 41 points in the first half with Jayla Smith scoring a team-high 12 points in the half.
The Bulldogs came out strong in offense in the second half, scoring four three-pointers just within the third quarter of the game. The Lady Statesmen recorded 13 of their 34 rebounds in the second half. The game ended with a score of 106-70 to the Union University Bulldogs.
