Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 Montevallo, Ala. -- The Delta State University softball team traveled to Montevallo, Alabama for a doubleheader with the Falcons of Montevallo University. Lacey Coats drew the start for the Lady Statesmen in game one. Coats pitched all twelve innings with two strikeouts. Sydney Pevey doubled in the second inning to score the game's first two runs. The Green and White took game one 5-4 after 12 innings.  The Lady Statesmen had eleven hits in the game. Madison Jenkins earned the start for game two of the doubleheader. Jenkins pitched three innings with two strikeouts. Karley Bloesch would hit a two-run home run to score the first runs in the second game. The Lady Statesmen added two more runs in the game. The Green and White would fall to the Falcons in game two 6-4.
