Lacey Coats earned the start in game one for the Lady Statesmen. Coats pitched the complete game with three strikeouts.
Karley Bloesch drove in
Raegan Stafford for the first run of the game.
MyCala Helms would drive in
Lindsey Coffey to push the DSU lead to 2-0. Bloesch would knock in Stafford and
Alyssa Gover in the second inning.
Alana Walker drove in Coffey in the third inning. Helms would hit a home run in the fourth inning to extend the lead to 6-0. The Lady Statesmen would beat the Wolves 6-0. In Game two
Madison Jenkins earned the start. Jenkins pitched 3.2 innings with a strikeout.
Katelyn Harmon scored on a single from
Alana Walker.
Raegan Stafford drove in Walker and Gover.
Jalynn Taylor scored with the UWG pitcher hitting
Lindsey Coffey.
