Box Score 2 Clinton, Miss. -- The Delta State University softball team traveled to Clinton for the final regular season series with the Choctaws of Mississippi College.
Lacey Coats earned the start for the Lady Statesmen in game one. Coats pitched the complete game with three strikeouts.
Hannah Hasle drew the start for game two. Hasle pitched 1.1 innings with a strikeout.
Madison Jenkins entered the game in the second inning for DSU.
Jalynn Taylor drove in
Raegan Stafford for the first run in the game for the Green and White. In the third inning,
Lindsey Coffey would hit a three-run home run shorter than MC lead 6-4.
Sydney Pevey hit a home run in the 5
th inning for DSU. The Green and White would drop both matches to the 15th-ranked Choctaws.
