Cleveland, Miss. – The Delta State University Women's Basketball team traveled to Jackson, Tennessee for a GSC matchup with Union University. The Bulldog's full-court press would be a challenge for DSU during the game, DSU scored 10 points in the first quarter while Union scored 29. The Green and White had more success in the second quarter, beating the press by scoring 15 points, but Union scored 28 points to take a 57-25 lead into the half. The Green and White turned up the defensive pressure allowing Union to only score 15 points in the third quarter while they scored 10 points in the third. The DSU offense exploded for 17 points in the fourth quarter while Union scored 19. The Lady Statesmen would fall to Union 91-52.
