Cleveland, Miss. – The Delta State University Women's Basketball team resumed a GSC matchup game on Wednesday night against Mississippi College that was postponed earlier in the year. The Lady Choctaw's offense would be a challenge for DSU during the game, scoring 11 points in the first quarter, but DSU came out on fire scoring 17 points of their own. The Green and White had success in the second quarter by scoring 11points, but Mississippi College scored 8 of their own to make the score 28-19 going into halftime. The Green and White allowed Mississippi College to score 20 points in the third quarter while scoring 8 points of their own. The DSU offense scored 16 points in the fourth quarter while Mississippi College scored 26 to take the final lead. The Lady Statesmen would fall to Mississippi College 65-52.
