CLINTON, Miss. - Four Lady Statesmen from Delta State Cross Country wrapped up the 2025 regular season at the Watson Collegiate Cross Country Classic on Friday morning with freshman Caroline McAlpin pacing the group.

Caroline McAlpin continued to add to a stellar freshman resume, pacing Delta State with a 91st place finish (26:48.28). Mackenzie Mercer (115th | 27:39.78) and Emma Haley (116th | 27:44.02) finished close together, followed by Kayla Lofton with a 129th place finish (28:35.37).

The Lady Statesmen will travel to Memphis, Tenn., on Saturday, Oct. 25 to compete in the Gulf South Conference Championship at Shelby Farms.
