MEMPHIS, Tenn. - The Lady Statesmen Cross Country team finished 12th at the Gulf South Conference Championship 6K on Saturday morning at Shelby Farms in Memphis, with five Lady Statesmen putting up personal best times for a 6K this season.

Freshman Caroline McAlpin led the Lady Statesmen in 87th place (26:20.33) followed by Mackenzie Mercer in 88th place (26:45.24). Maeve Lavoy (90th | 26:49.17), Kayla Lofton (91st | 27:01.57), and Jessica Gannon (93rd | 27:18.16) finished within 30 seconds of each other. Emma Haley (97th | 27:59.66) and Lindsey Hogue (98th | 28:10.70) rounded out the pack.
