MOBILE, Ala. – The Delta State University Men's Tennis Team finished day one of the GSC Fall Championships with three players moving onto the quarterfinals in two different flights at the Mobile Tennis Center in Mobile, Ala.
 
Junior Alejandro Bravo has moved onto the round of eight in flight two with a win over Auburn Montgomery's Raphael Pertusier (6-0, 6-2). Bravo will face Francisco Guimares from Lee University tomorrow morning at 9 a.m. (CT).
 
In Flight three, DSU went 1-1 as Valentino Millimaci moved onto the second round with a (6-1, 6-4) win over Rhys Edwards from Lee. Millimaci will face Leo Lazarides from Montevallo tomorrow at 10:45 a.m.  
 
Marti Cerda Castillo won in the first round of flight four in straight sets (6-2, 6-0) over Aaryan Khimasia from West Alabama. Castillo will face off against Simon Luigs from Montevallo tomorrow morning at 12:30 p.m. (CT).
 
Valentin Greco will compete in the Flight Round Consolation round against Rafael Sabio from West Florida tomorrow morning at 9:00 a.m. (CT) after falling in a tight match against top seeded Matias Iturbe from West Alabama (6-4, 6-3).
 
The Statesmen will look to continue in the championship and consolation rounds tomorrow starting at 9:00 a.m. (CT) at the Mobile Tennis Center.
