CLEVELAND, Miss. – The Delta State University Women's Basketball Team (2-1, 0-0 GSC) will hit the road this week as they will face the Golden Suns from Arkansas Tech University Tomorrow afternoon at 1:00 p.m. in Tucker Coliseum in Russellville, Ark.

Scouting the Lady Statesmen
- Delta State looks to win three-straight games and grab their first road win of the regular season after winning back-to-back home games against Southern Arkansas (56-52) and Arkansas Monticello (61-57).
- The Lady Statesmen back court has made a huge impact during their early season success led by sophomore guard Jariyah Williamson. The Henderson, Tenn., native is averaging 16 points per game and grabbing 7.3 rebounds per game scored her season high 17 points last time out against the Cotton Blossoms. Senior guard Olivia Allen also has been a key scorer for the green and white. Allen is averaging 10 points per game after scoring 13 points in the 61-57-win Saturday afternoon.
- Senior forward Dakiya Toney has highlighted the success in the front court for the Lady Statesmen. The Lake Village native leads the green and white averaging 7.3 rebounds per game and 1.7 blocks per game. In the win against Arkansas Monticello, Toney collected six rebounds and blocked two shots in the win.
Scouting the Golden Suns
- Arkansas Tech enters this game with an unblemished 3-0 record with their recent win against Arkansas Fort Smith 75-69 Wednesday evening in Fort Smith.
- ATU has five players averaging double-digits in the scoring column early on in their 2025-26 season. The green and gold averages 98.3 points per game and is outscoring their opponents with a 33-point scoring margin.
- Sophomore Forward AbbiGrace Cunningham leads all scorers averaging 13 points per game and averaging five rebounds per game. Last time out, Cunningham had nine points and grabbed six rebounds.
