CLEVELAND, Miss, - The Delta State University Women's Basketball Team (11-10, 7-8 GSC) will be back in action this weekend with a two-game home stretch with the Chargers from the University of Alabama at Huntsville and the Tigers from the University of West Alabama.
The Lady Statesmen will face Alabama Huntsville today at 5:30 p.m. (CDT) on Lloyd Clark Court in Walter Sillers Coliseum. Following that, DSU will face West Alabama Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m. (CDT)
The Voice of the Statesmen Michael Gross will have the call on the Statesmen Sport Network and on the FloCollege network. The first 50 to attend the game tonight get a free Pizza from Sodexo at the Men's game.

Alabama Huntsville is looking to add on to their 17-4 record and keep their 12-1 record in the GSC. The Chargers rank second in the conference behind Union looking to secure a first-round home game in the playoffs. Last Weekend, UAH went 1-1 in their two-game home stretch falling to Lee but following the loss up with a win over Trevecca.

UAH continues to be one of the best offensively performing teams in the GSC this season, as the Chargers rank second in points per game (74.5) and first with a 46.3 team field goal percentage. The Chargers are also ranked second in the GSC with points allowed per game at 56.3 through 19 contests, giving UAH a positive scoring margin of 18.2 overall this season.

The Tigers' offense is led by Kendall Lacoste, who averages 13.5 points and 1.6 rebounds per game. Callie Cowan contributes 8.2 points and 2.3 assists per contest, while Shayla Golden adds 8.8 points and a team-high 5.9 rebounds per game.
