CLEVELAND, Miss. – The Delta State University Women's Basketball Team (7-6, 5-3 GSC) return to Walter Sillers Coliseum for the first time in 2026 for a two-game home stretch tomorrow evening and Saturday afternoon.
The Lady Statesmen start their two-game home stretch with First Responders Night as they host the Trojans from Trevecca Nazarene tomorrow evening at 5:30 p.m. (CT). Any first responder can get in for free wearing their uniform, or with an ID. Following Thursday's game, DSU will host the Lady Flames from Lee University Saturday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. (CT)

Scouting the Lady Statesmen
- The Lady Statesmen return to Walter Sillers Coliseum for the first time in 2026 looking to snap a three-game losing streak after going 0-2 last weekend on the road at West Florida and Valdosta State.
- Despite the results, Delta State got a solid weekend from sophomore guard Jariyah Williamson. Williamson has scored double digits in five consecutive games now after averaging 14 points per game in the road trip last weekend and pulling down 4.5 rebounds per game and getting two steals per game.
- Along with Williamson, is senior forward Dakiya Toney. Toney has scored double digits in seven consecutive games and is holding it down in the front court as she averaged 13 points last weekend on the road trip.
- The Lady Statesmen enter this weekend as one of the top three-point shooting teams in the GSC as they are second in the conference shooting 33.5% from long range as a team.
Scouting the Trojans
- The Trojans enter this weekend with a 7-5 overall record and a 4-3 record in Gulf South Conference Play. Trevecca started conference play in 2026 strongly with a win over their travel partner in Lee 71-51 last Sunday in Nashville.
- The Trojans have the Gulf South's leading rebounder in Cheyenne Trotter. The Illinois native leads the GSC averaging 11 rebounds per game and averages 3.8 offensive rebounds per game. In the win against Lee, Trotter was a rebound away from a double-double as she scored 19 points and grabbed nine rebounds.
- Against the Flames, junior guard Jordan Gillies had a season best 27 points as she shot 9-15 from the field and was a perfect 7-7 from the charity stripe.
Scouting the Lady Flames
- Lee looks to bounce back from last weekend as they fell to the Trojans from Trevecca Nazarene 71-51 Sunday afternoon in Nashville. The Lady Flames are 3-2 in their last five games as they hold an 8-4 overall record and a 4-3 record in Gulf South Play heading into this weekend. Lee will play MC Thursday night.
- The Lady Flames are led by graduate forward Anna Muhonen. The Cleveland, Tenn., native averages near a double-double scoring 16.4 points per game and grabbing 8.2 rebounds per game.
- Against the Trojans, redshirt sophomore Milah Williams had a solid day off the bench for Lee where she scored 13 points and grabbed seven rebounds including five offensive rebounds. Muhonen was the other player in double figures with 11 points and seven rebounds.
