Charlotte Le Flohic, a senior on the Delta State University women's tennis team, was named the CableOne/Farm Bureau GoStatesmen.com Female Student-Athlete of the Week after leading the Lady Statesmen to a 7-2 victory over the University of West Georgia this past weekend in Pensacola, Fla.
The Senlis, France, native claimed the victory at No. 2 singles, defeating Brooke Kane 6-1, 6-2. Le Flohic, a three-year letter winner, teamed with Nathalia Sato to oust Sara Watson/Gabrielle Chanthaphaeng, 8-6, in No. 1 doubles as well.
Le Flohic and the Lady Statesmen return to action on Thursday, April 12 versus the University of West Alabama. DSU will honor its 2018 senior class prior to the start of the match at 1:30 p.m.
