FLORENCE, Alabama – The Delta State University men's golf team will face a tough field that features five nationally ranked teams at the TVA Community Credit Union Invitational that begins Monday at the Turtle Point Yacht and Country Club.
West Georgia, ranked third in the NCAA Division II by Golfstat, and ninth ranked Columbus State headline the 17-team field. Tournament host and No. 17 North Alabama is the two-time defending champion is joined by No. 23 Missouri-St. Louis and No. 24 Limestone. The remaining schools in the tournament include Clayton State, Harding University, Henderson State, Trevecca, Lee, West Alabama, Delta State, Miles College, Union (Tenn.) University, University of Montevallo and Lindenwood. North Alabama also has a B-team entered.

This is the third tournament on the fall schedule as the Statesmen look to rebound from a 16
th place finish at the AFLAC intercollegiate in Columbus, Georgia, two weeks ago. Host DSU shot 20-under in the final round to erase a 13-stroke deficit and win the Derrall Foreman Intercollegiate to open the fall.
The tournament begins on Monday 8 a.m. with the teams playing 36 holes concludes with 18 holes on Tuesday morning.
