OLD HICKORY, Tenn. – The Delta State University men's golf team wrapped up the final day at the 2026 Music City Invitational with an 11^th place finish Tuesday at the Hermitage Golf Course in Old Hickory, Tennessee.
 
The Statesmen finished in 11^th place as they shot a three-round total of 862 strokes (+22) on a par 70 course.
 
In the third round, Gonzalo De Minon led all Statesmen with a 69 (-1) on the scorecard to finish in 26^th place, shooting a three-round total of 213 (+3).
 
Cooper Jones finished in a tie for 34^th with a three-round total of 216 (+6) after shooting a 72 (+2) in the third round. Payne Bius and Hayden Webber both finished in a tie for 48^th with a three-round total of 218 (+8). Bius and Webber both turned in a 71 (+1) in the third round.
 
The Statesmen enter postseason in three-weeks as they will partake in the 2026 Gulf South Conference Championships on Monday April 20^th and Tuesday the 21^st from Grey Stone Golf Course in Dickson, Tennessee.
