CLEVELAND, Miss. -- The Delta State University men's golf team shot a 10-under-278 in the first round and a 17-under-271 in the second round to open up a 28 shot lead after the first 36 holes at the Derrall Foreman Invitational on Monday, Oct. 12.

Jake Kight and Landon Cottrell each fired two rounds of 68 to sit tied atop the leaderboard at 8-under-136.
