CLEVELAND, Miss. -- Delta State University head cheerleading coach Mary Beth Evans has announced the squad list for the upcoming 2020-2021 season.
"We would have liked to hold in-person tryouts, but the COVID-19 pandemic had other ideas. With all that said, I am very pleased with the squad that we have for this next year," said Evans. "Each of our student-athletes brings something different to the team, and I am excited to see it all come together."
The squad consists of 14 total members, made up of 10 returners and four newcomers.
"I am looking forward to the day we can meet face-to-face and get practicing," said Evans. "I have high expectations moving forward and I know this group can rise to meet them."
