CHEERLEADING TRYOUT APPLICATION

CLEVELAND, Miss. -- Delta State University head cheerleading coach Mary Beth Evans has announced the upcoming dates for cheerleading stunt clinics leading up to tryouts for the 2021-2022 DSU Cheerleading team.

"We are excited about the upcoming tryouts for next year's cheerleading squad," said Evans. "We are looking forward to a great process and announcing our new cheerleading squad when the time comes."

The upcoming stunt clinic will be held on Saturday, April 24. Each event starts at 9 a.m. at the Dorgan Center. 

For cheerleading tryouts, the registration deadline is May 7, with tryouts taking place on May 15. You can register online at gostatesmen.com Please have all documents uploaded by May 7 at 11:00 p.m. New squad members will be called, and official results will be posted on gostatesmen.com and other social media outlets on Monday, May 17.

The cost is $10 for the clinic and $40 for tryouts. The application for students to tryout for the squad can be found HERE and should be submitted prior to the May 7 deadline. There are also scholarships available for team members, as well as mascots.
