Lady Statesmen Welcome Julien to #DSUFamily

CLEVELAND, Miss. -- Delta State University head women's soccer coach Mark Hiller has announced the signing of Jae'lasha Julien.

"Jae'lasha is a forward we have known for a long time and someone we feel will make a huge impact at the collegiate level," Hiller said.

Julien, a LaPlace, La. native, scored 58 goals for East St. Tammany and then played for Mandeville High School. She plays club soccer for FC Tammany, won the state cup in each of the past four years, and has also helped her team earn a spot at regional and national competitions in each of the past three seasons.

"She combines speed and strength with an ability to score goals from different areas of the field, and also possesses an ability to assist her teammates with intelligent passes and movements off the ball," Hiller remarked. "When she visited campus we were impressed by her personality and leadership qualities and we can't wait to get her on campus in the fall."
