Lady Statesmen Ranked 17th in Latest United Soccer Coaches Poll

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The Delta State University women's soccer team remains in the United Soccer Coaches Top 25 poll for the fourth straight week after defeating Spring Hill College to end the spring season. The Lady Statesmen finish the season ranked 17th in the nation.

The Lady Statesmen finished 8-1-2 on the season, turning in the best record in program history.

Delta State tallied the third-most goals scored in the GSC (21), and gave up the third-fewest (7). Forward Diana Okechukwu ranked eighth in the GSC in shots (26) and third in goals (7).
