CLEVELAND, Miss. -- Due to weather concerns, Friday's softball doubleheader against Arkansas-Monticello has been pushed to this Sunday, February 19. The game times have also been pushed back one hour, with game one now scheduled for a 1:00 pm first pitch.
Saturday's dates at Monticello have not been affected. Game one of Saturday's doubleheader will remain a 12:00 pm scheduled first pitch.
Sunday's doubleheader will also be the home opener for the Lady Statesmen. First-year head coach Whitney Way picked up her first career win last Friday against Ohio Dominican at the 2023 Charger Chillout. The Lady Statesmen won three of their five games in Albertville, Alabama last weekend.
