Cross Country finishes 7th at the Belhaven Invitational

CLINTON, Miss. – The Delta State cross country team finished 7th at the Belhaven Invitational  with some good performances coming out of Clinton, Mississippi.

The team was led by Emma Haley who earned a 36th place finish with a time of 26:22.60. The whole team showed some good performances on the course earning a 7th place finish out of 16 teams participating.

"Today was an awesome day to run fast. Coach pushed us hard this week and we are drawing near the end of the season with three more weeks to go. I think we are looking good as a team and we are getting faster each week getting ready for Conference"  said junior Emma Haley, top finisher for the Lady Statesmen
