DUNCAN, OKLA. – The Delta State University Men's Golf Team Shot a three-round total of 884 (+20) to finish in a tie for sixth place at the Hrnicar at The Territory Golf and Country Club in Duncan, Oklahoma Tuesday afternoon.
The Statesmen were led by sophomore
Ty Werynski who shot a team low 73 (+1) to finish with a three-round total of 212 (-4). Werynski has placed in the top five for the fourth consecutive tournament of the fall season.
Senior
Peter Blazevic finished in a tie for 21
st with a three-round total of 221 (+5). Blazevic shot a 78 (+6) in the third round.
Niko Salmi finished in a tie for 42
nd overall with a three-round total of 226 (+10).
The Statesmen return home in two weeks for the Derrall Foreman Invitational at the Cleveland Country Club. The Invitational starts on Monday, October 20
th.
