BIRMINGHAM, Ala- 15 members of the Delta State University Football Team earned All-Gulf South Conference Recognition announced this afternoon by the Gulf South Conference Office.

The All-GSC teams were voted on by the four head coaches in the conference.

Nine Players earned First Team All-GSC Recognition with five on offense, three on defense and two on special teams.

Redshirt Freshman running back
Nick Clark had two honors. The Daphne, Ala., native earned first team All-Purpose Back, and Second Team Running Back. Clark led the Statesmen with 531 rushing yards on 130 attempts and a GSC leading 11 rushing touchdowns. Clark also had 11 receptions for 82 yards and a touchdown.

Joining Clark with first team honors is the Wide Receiver Duo of
Curtis Rearden and
Neno Lemay. Rearden had a stellar senior season for the Statesmen as he was second in the GSC with seven touchdown receptions. The Chicago native had 22 receptions for 592 yards averaging just under 27 yards per catch. Rearden earned GSC Offensive Player of the Week with his four receptions for 207 yards and three touchdowns against West Florida.

Lemay was a spark plug for the Statesmen on the offensive side of the ball and on special teams. The New Roads, La. Native earned first team recognition as a Wide Receiver and as a Return Specialist. Lemay earned GSC Special Teams Player of the Week after he had four returns for 158 yards including a 97-yard return for a Touchdown against West Florida. In the 2025 season, Lemay had a team high 36 receptions for 445 yards and two touchdowns. As a kickoff returner, Lemay had 21 returns for 498 yards and a touchdown.

The Green and White had two Offensive Lineman earn First Team All-GSC Recognition. Â Senior left tackle
Gabe Schweitzer and senior right guard
Logan Browning both earned All-GSC recognition. Schweitzer and Browning were key pieces to an offensive line that paved the way for the Green and White offense that had averaged 413.3 yards per game.

On the Defensive side of the ball, the Statesmen had three first team All-GSC honorees. Senior linebacker
William Carter was the top of the list as the Mike backer for the Green and White. The Birmingham native led all Statesmen with 59 tackles (29 solo) on the season. Carter had five TFLs 1.5 sacks, four pass breakups and an interception.

Two defensive backs earned first team honors for Delta State. Senior safety
Taylon Doss got first team recognition after having 47 tackles, (34 Solo), four TFLs and one sack along with an interception and a forced fumble.

Tye Holsey. Holsey had 50 tackles (26 solo) in eight games played for DSU with three TFLs and an interception along with two pass breakups.

Earning first team recognition in special teams was junior defensive back
Tavian Moore. The Huntsville native earned first team as a special teams utility after totaling 51 tackles on the season. Moore also had six TFLs, a forced fumble and an interception.

Delta State had seven players receive second team All-GSC recognition. Junior wide receiver
Lawrence Armstrong was one of three players on the offensive side of the ball to earn second team All-GSC honors. The Houston native had nine receptions for 426 yards and three touchdowns. Armstrong earned GSC Offensive Player of the Week after hauling in two catches for 108 yards and two touchdowns in DSU's win at West Alabama.

Carter Coullard. The Lake Providence, La., native served as a great run block, and receiving threat for the green and white as he had seven receptions for 73 yards and two touchdowns.

 Delta State had three players on the defensive side of the ball that earned second team All-GSC recognition. Senior Linebacker
Joshua Phillips earned second team recognition as a linebacker. The Grenada native had the second most tackles with 57 (29 solo) with six TFLs and a pick six along with a forced fumble.

Two defensive lineman earned second team All-GSC honors starting with junior defensive tackle
Alex Larry. The Greenwood native earned GSC Defensive Player of the Week honors twice this season. Larry had 30 total tackles with 5.5 TFLs and 4.5 Sacks.

Jacquez Tucker. The Calhoun City, Miss., native had 7.5 TFLs with four sacks along with his 28 tackles on the season. The 6'3 285 defensive lineman had three pass breakups at the line this season.

DSU had one special teams player to earn second team All-GSC honors as senior kicker and punter
Price Nixon earned honors. The Clinton native had 39 punts for 1487 yards and placed DSU opponents inside their 20 18 times this season. Nixon also served as the kickoff specialist as he had 19 touch backs and an average of 59.1 yards per kick.
