NEW ORLEANS, La. – The Delta State Men's Golf Team shot 914 (+50) as they finished 15^th in the Gulf Coast Collegiate at English Turn Golf Country Club in New Orleans.
 
Senior Matt Nicell led the way for DSU finishing tied for 40^th shooting 225 (+9) in three rounds played.
 
 Despite a slow start to the tournament, Delta State finished strong on Tuesday shooting 296 (+8) led by Niko Salmi, who turned in a 72 (Even). Salmi finished tied for 46^th turning in a three-round score of 226 (+10).
 
The Statesmen will be back on the links on Monday, March 10^th as they will host the Darrell Foreman Invitational at the Cleveland Country Club.
