OLD HICKORY, Tenn. – The Delta State University Men's Golf Team got a top five finish out of senior Matt Nicell this week as the team finished in fifth place at the Music City Invitational at the Hermitage Golf Course in Old Hickory, Tenn.
 
Nicell finished tied in fourth place individually as he managed to shoot a three-round total of 206 (-4). Nicell started the tournament with a 71 (+1), followed that with his season best 65 (-5) in the second round. Nicell finished the tournament shooting even par in the third round.
 
Freshman Zach Olsen earned a top 20 finish in the invitational with a round total of 212 (+2). Olsen tallied a 73 (+3) in the first round, a 70 (Even), in the second and finished the round with a 69 (-1) in the third round.
 
The Statesmen finished their regular season and will be in the GSC Golf Championships on Thursday April 17^th at the Tunica National Golf Club in Tunica, Miss.
