BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Delta State University Women's Soccer senior defender Ava Webster has earned preseason All-GSC Honors, and the Lady Statesmen have been selected seventh in the Preseason Coaches' Poll with 67 points.

Webster, a defender out of Chesterfield, England, earned second team All-GSC honors during the 2024 season. Webster played in 16 games, starting 14 of them and logged 1247 minutes. She led the Lady Statesmen in points, scoring four goals and assisting one goal. She added game winning goals against Christian Brothers and AUM, during the 2024 season.

The Lady Statesmen kick off their 2025 preseason with matches against Belhaven University (Aug 23) and Jones College (Aug 27). The Lady Statesmen begin their regular season at Delta Field in Cleveland, Miss. Against Eckerd College on September 5 at 2:00 p.m.
